Good tickets & entry passes fill up weeks ahead and the great ones go first. Below: the 15 to book early, what each includes and how they differ.
Head to Ubud Palace for a 90-minute Legong Kraton performance, where young dancers tell an old royal tale through precise gestures, swift movements, gold costumes, and gamelan music. The outdoor venue is central and easy to reach, but arrive 45 to 75 minutes early for the best seats.

Spend one hour watching Ubud’s Kecak and Fire Dance, a Ramayana story told through human chants, movement, costumes, and fire. You choose among four venues, enter without the usual ticket line, and should arrive 30 minutes early for a good seat. English-speaking hosts assist with entry.

Spend 3 to 7 hours at Waterbom Bali in Kuta with access to 26 slides, the Lazy River, children’s play areas, pools, gardens, and dining outlets. The single-day pass costs $33.54, includes same-day park access, and suits families, couples, and thrill seekers.
“The slides are just amazing. Yes they are the largest and longest slides. Made lots of memories and my kids just couldn’t get enough of the slides. Definitely a must to do for kids on Bali.”
Meet a local guide at Uluwatu Temple at 5pm for a guided visit, photo stops, temple entry, and a Kecak performance telling the story of Rama and Sita. Guides such as Kadek Pedro, Adhi, Ketut, and Made help with monkeys, explain Balinese traditions, and lead you to the show.

He was very thorough in all of his explanations and was very accommodating. The tour was perfectly aligned with the show for which Made ensured we had great seats. Bring sunscreen and hat for this tour but beware of the monkeys.”
Arrive at De Jukung Resto & Bar by 5:30 PM for a one-hour Kecak and Fire Dance, timed with sunset at Tanah Lot. You’ll hear the famous cak cak chant, watch Ramayana scenes and fire rituals, and may add temple entry, a guide, or hotel pickup.

Make your own way to Uluwatu Temple for a one-hour Kecak and Fire Dance performance timed around sunset. You’ll see roughly 50 male chanters, costumed characters, Ramayana storytelling, and a fire finale. The show ticket is included, but temple admission, transport, food, and drinks cost extra.
“Great experience! Just beware of the monkeys - there were only a few, but one of them jumped on me and stole my glasses right off my face 😂 an attendant had to throw the monkey and orange in exchange for my glasses.”
Spend about three hours at Bali Bird Park, home to 1,300 birds from 250 species. Walk through tropical gardens, join feeding sessions, watch free-flight and bird-of-prey shows, and enjoy a 4D movie. Entry is flexible during opening hours, with food and souvenirs available to buy.
“Easily buy your vouchers upfront in your own currency and exchange at the entrance for your actual entry tickets. The park itself is cosy and full of free roaming birds, walk-in aviaries, etc. There are plenty of activities (feeding sessions etc) and places to buy food and drinks. Recommended activity (although for Bali one of the more expensive entry tickets).”
Visit Tirta Empul with a guide such as Wayan, Moyo, Putu, or Kadek Nanda, learn the meaning of Balinese Hindu purification, and join the holy-water ritual if you choose. Private pickup, temple entry, sarong, sash, offering, and bottled water are included.

From Seminyak, you’ll ride with an English-speaking guide and driver to Uluwatu Temple, walk the cliff-top grounds, watch a 6 or 7 p.m. Kecak and fire dance, and return after roughly five hours. Guides such as Bagus, Wayan, Arya, and Putra are praised for local insight, photos, and crowd help.

Hint: bring something for shade while waiting for show - Sun can make it hot but you want to be in a spot to view the sunset just before the show.”
Spend 4 to 5 hours at Trans Studio Bali in Seminyak, an indoor theme park inside Trans Studio Mall Bali. Your mobile ticket covers five zones, selected rides, live shows, and family attractions. Check the package carefully: Fly Over Indonesia, I-Fly, fast-track access, and lunch are sold separately or only with certain options.

Use your digital ticket at the kiosk near Prambanan’s entrance, then explore Java’s largest Hindu temple complex at your own pace. See the towering Shiva Temple, study story-filled reliefs, and use the entrance map to find key sites. No guide or transport is included.
“Great I went by myself, without guide just walked around the temples but it is very easy to get there and they give a map at the entrance to know the history and all the important spots. There was also delicious street food market before the exit to try local delicacies.”
Leave Bandung for Ciwidey with guide Umien Moritz on an 8 to 9-hour private trip through village roads, rice fields, Kawah Putih, tea country, and Rengganis Crater. Expect short walks, volcanic scenery, bottled water, transport, entrance fees, and lunch at your own cost.

Spend about nine hours with a private English-speaking driver-guide visiting Batuan Temple, Tegenungan Waterfall, Kintamani, Tegalalang Rice Terrace, and Ubud Monkey Forest. The $77 price includes tickets, fuel, parking, hotel transfers, and an Indonesian buffet with Mount Batur views.

Spend about an hour at an adults-only comedy show in Bali, choosing a regular set, crowd-work night, or open mic in Canggu, Seminyak, Ubud, or Uluwatu. Expect intimate rooms, audience interaction, and comedians such as Omar and Guntur. The venue is secret until details arrive by message or WhatsApp.
